Coming up in 2014

You will know by now that I am not good at all at keeping up with blog posts. There’ll be weeks where I’ll post almost every day, and there’ll be months where I won’t post at all. I think this is partly due to, aside from the ever-increasing pile of school work, the fact that almost all my ideas require time and energy, two things that I do not usually possess (currently I use all my remaining energy crying over Supernatural). Moreover, the only time I felt I could post anything worth reading was when something had happened in my life, which isn’t very often, so you were left with goddamn awful posts about nothing.

So, now, in the event that I have nothing to write about, I have created a list of generic ideas to complete as and when.

  • The ‘Letters To’ series ~ So this will basically be a series of letters to someone, maybe a specific person, maybe to a group of people, saying the things that I’d like to say but probably won’t. It could be just an open letter to anyone in a similar situation, for example, however it could be addressed to a friend of mine, or even yourself.
  • Challenges ~ You know the ones. The challenges that no one keeps up, ever. But I shall try my best.
  • Tags ~ Tags are fun, and easy, so why not? If you guys find any interesting ones, please tell me because I have no inspiration. As per usual.
  • A fuck tonne of feels posts ~ I have so many of these in my drafts and I have a feeling some of you could relate to them.
  • Reviews ~ Films, books, music.
  • A continuation of the ‘Reasons to carry on’ series ~ My aim is to get at least a couple of hundred to remind anyone going through a hard time why they should carry on.
  • Tutorials ~ …Craft things? Daily routines? Eyeliner?
  • Videos ~ Ooooh, videos. Not entirely sure what of, but there we go.
  • Novel ~ I can try and write a novel and post my progress. Not sure how that would work out. Which leads me on to:
  • A modern fairy tale series ~ Considering traditional fairy tales are bullshit, I thought I’d rewrite some. Why does the Princess always have to be saved by the Prince? And why does it always have to be a Prince and a Princess? Why not two princesses or two princes? ACCEPTANCE.

And that is just a small sample of ideas. You can remind me if I seem to have disappeared for a while.

Next post will be soon as it’s midday and I should probably get up.

xx

Things I love about summer.

Personally, I adore summer. It’s just got a ‘feel good’ vibe to it, if you get what I mean. AND IT’S WARM. (rarely in England but there we go, we’ve just had a so-called ‘heat wave’ so we should be thankful.) 😀 As with every season, summer has it bad features: the over-powering heat, the fact that we can never keep cool in the heat seeing as no one has air conditioning, so you are doomed to lie on your floor without moving for days on end… unless you spend your day in Tesco by the refrigerators. Not a bad idea, actually… There’s ice cream… …Yup… That’s my summer sorted. And then there’s the mosquitos. Argh. Annoying little things they are. Why do they even exist? *danisnotonfire voice* WHAT IS THE POINT OF THEIR EXISTAAANNNCCEEE?

But all that aside, it’s still one of my favourite seasons. And I’m going to write a list. Because lists are cool.

1. Sun – The really obvious one. But hey, it’s something that the majority of us look forward to, especially after long winters. Sun kind of just makes everything a bit better. Even if you’re stuck in school doing your most hated classes, it’s just a little better when the sun’s shining, right?

2. Warm weather – This is also really obvious and links in with the previous one. Still, it’s something we all like, come on. And we don’t get much of it here in England, so there.

3. Summer breaks and holidaaaayyys! And no school! – It’s just nice to be away for a while somewhere nice, even if, like me, you just go somewhere a few hours away (I’m trying my best to go abroad next year though… Portugal looks likely, yeeeessss) Plus it gives you a chance to stalk dem fit guys and girls.

…I am such a creeper.

4. Pimms – WHO DOES NOT LIKE PIMMS?! Probably a lot of people, stop making judgements. It’s one drink that is really summery and fruity and nice that only really appears in this season, so yep.

5. Ice cream – I know you can get this all year round, but you can’t beat ice cream when it’s actually hot.

6. Tanning – Yaaaaaaaaay, getting the ‘golden glow’. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I don’t tan.

7. Meeting up with friends – Any day, any time really. Whenever you feel like it without having to worry about homework or school the next day or whatever. Though my friends are all on holiday right now, so I am a loner. Maaaa.

8. Staying outside for ages – It doesn’t get cold or dark for ageeeees, so you can stay out until midnight. not quite

9. BBQs – Nom nom nom nom nom nom nom. FOOD. Food is good. (Hint: To you UK people, the chilli beef kebabs from a supermarket that rhymes with… Lainsbury’s are really nice.)

10. Fruit – Finally all the nice fruit is available, by that I mean stuff like strawberries and raspberries and shit. Yes, I know you can get them all year round, but in summer you get British ones and local ones and they’re nice okay.

11. Lie ins – Because you’re not at school, you can stay in bed for the entire day, yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! Though I’m looking after my friend’s chickens and cat again while she’s away so this week I can’t do that. Meh. But I get paid so you know, the early (10 am) mornings are worth it.

12. Dresses and skirts and shorts and florals and all that nice shit – Yes. Summer fashion. I LUFF IT.

13. Lemonade – This just deserves a section of its own in my opinion, okay, because I like lemonade and yeah. When it’s nice and chilled and you can just sip it and stuff, like yup. Yep yep yeppedy yep. *skips down street with glass of lemonade* When I visited York last week, there were these people selling fresh lemonade, which consisted only of freshly squeezed lemons and cold water. And boy, it was good. If you ever go to York this summer, get some. Because it’s refreshing. Nom nom nom.

And so concludes my list. I want a list of things to do this summer, just really random things, so PLEASE COMMENT IDEAS BELOW I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVEEEERRR! Whatever crazy, or not-so-crazy ideas you have, please let me know, I’d really appreciate it, if you guys actually suggest stuff I’ll make a post about it and it’ll be fun and let’s all do challenges and stuff because it’s summer and we have six weeks off here (five now) so JUST DO IT. PLUZ.

Love you all.

xx

AND YES I HAVE A NEW THEME AHAHA SUMMERY.

I really need to sort out these categories.

Drafts.

Firstly, sorry for not posting in a while. I have so many drafts saved – I started a lot of posts but could never find the words to finish them. But hey, here I am, posting again for the first time since New Year. Yay. I also have been working on a arty crafty thing which I will post very soon, as I am hoping to finish that today.
So, I hope your 2013 has been good so far. The past few days have been uneventful – to be honest, I haven’t been able to do much as everyone in my family except me are ill and both my parents are working. I couldn’t go anywhere with Izzy (she’s my best friend), because she couldn’t leave her younger sister on her own. So that’s been fun. I have spent most of my Christmas break watching the entire 3 series of the Inbetweeners, plus some random shows on iPlayer when I’m not scrolling through Instagram or watching YouTube. I actually started watching every single Crabstickz video since he started. Yeah.
But on the up side… (is that even a phrase?) I was finally able to download Vices and Virtues – Panic! At the Disco. I am literally in love with that album. Seriously. And I learnt the Ballad of Mona Lisa on ukulele, and it’s pretty damn cool.
And I have a new friend. His name’s Isaac. And you know what this means? I now have a grand total of TWO guy friends whose voices have actually broken. I know. (Does this give you an idea of the kind of people I ended up being friends with?) But anyway, he’s really nice. Plus he’s pretty darn cute. Plus, I have literally just found out he likes Panic!. Ohmygod. (coolstorybabes, we’re not alone!) I’m not going to go on about him (saving that for another post ahaha – depends how desperate I am for ideas xD)
Aaannnndddd I have a load of chocolate to eat.
That is all. My life is so interesting.
But I’ll be back at school tomorrow, which will be fun a fucking nightmare. Hopefully Monday won’t be too bad. We have orienteering in PE so that should be amusing at least. Is it weird that I actually hope we get lost? I doubt we will though, the forest isn’t that complicated. I’ll tell you how it goes. One of my friend’s birthday is tomorrow. I think I’m one of the only people I know who actually remembers birthdays. He’ll probably be moaning about having to go back to school on his birthday, and yes it does suck (my birthday is right at the start of the acedemic year so I have had to go back to school on my birthday numerous times) but I don’t want to hear him moaning about it. After all, school’s like his favourite place. No kidding. It’s disturbing. (I’m really creating a great image of my friends here aren’t I?)

^Good piece of advice.
So yeah, I’ll be posting later seeing as I’m now on a roll, but guys, leave me ideas in the comments! Pwease?
See you later, hopefully I will have finished the crafty tutorial thing.
Have a good day everyone. x
